Hyper Island - Industry Leader

Hyper Island designs transformative learning experiences to enable growth – for individuals and for businesses. Unlike typical education or service providers, we follow a tried-and-tested methodology and a wide network of real industry experts. Through our global network of schools and business services, we put people at the heart of innovation, leadership and change – for success today and tomorrow.

Working with Masters students from around the world, I share Industry knowledge about the creative process and the journey of a design from idea to production.

Through a mix of workshop activities and team mentoring, I help the students move through their final project as they learn how to design and develop innovative, elegant, useful experiences, products, and services for people and businesses

IDEOU

IDEO believes the world needs more creative leaders. IDEO U is an online school where anyone can unlock their creative potential through design thinking and collaboration. The IDEOU Impact House, supported by The University of Pennsylvania, brought to San Francisco 22 global creative leaders who are actively bringing design thinking to their organizations, industries and communities to create real impact.

IDEOU Coaches are hand-picked IDEOU Alumni who provide guidance throughout learners journey. Natural problem solvers and design thinkers from a variety of industries and cities around the world, each one has demonstrated excellence in a previous run of Storytelling for Influence. As an Alumni Coach I provide feedback on assignments, helping learners deepen understanding of the content, and grow connections with storytellers around the globe.

Manchester Fashion Institute

The Fashion Institute brings together expertise from across Manchester Metropolitan University, Manchester and the global Fashion Industry to create an international hub that connects education, research and enterprise to inspire the next generation of industry leaders.

As visiting lecturers, we hold workshops sharing our industry knowledge with Undergraduates.

Cornwall Museums Partnership

I was invited by the Cornwall Museums Partnerships and the Consultancy Bird & Gorton to share my experiences of developing Digital Leadership. I shared our learnings from working in music and fashion to help the attendees, who were all from the Arts & Culture sector, consider how they may see digital as a key asset that supports growth for their organisation.

As part of our ongoing relationship with iconic denim brand Wrangler we introduced ‘Born Ready’, a new pan-European digital platform and brand product offering, through responsive eCommerce and contextual omnichannel messaging.

The Born Ready platform brings to life Wrangler’s personality and philosophy – a commitment to creating innovative denim products that prepare you for adventure.The new ‘Ready Range’ launches product innovations such as Rain Ready and Cold Ready jeans to give everyday adventurers the freedom to transition seamlessly from work and city life to the great outdoors in style.

With the brand aiming to be category leaders in performance denim our goal was to clearly present their commitment to denim innovation and display new product offerings through a best-in-class digital experience.

Given that this is the first brand campaign in several years, we realised digital gave us the chance to speak on a local level to consumers that hadn’t been spoken to for some time.
